Muteki Choujin Zambot 3

Three families from a dead planet rebuild on Earth, assemble a giant robot, and immediately get treated like pariahs for their trouble. Zambot 3 is that rare mecha show interested in the emotional toll of heroism, watching teenagers defend humanity while everyone assumes they're the actual problem.
