Huckleberry Finn Monogatari

An orphan kid and a fugitive pair up for a riverboat escape that's equal parts liberation and chaos. Based on Twain's novel, this '94 anime trades the literary depth for straightforward adventure, scrappy, episodic, and occasionally earnest about the whole "freedom costs something" angle.
