One evening. One cafe. A handful of strangers nursing their respective hang-ups, a freshly dumped kid, two women trading gossip, a pair of men locked in debate, someone lost in a book. Then the waitress suggests he look at something. Then the other patrons start noticing it too. Whatever it is. Whatever's happening.
